This morning I made a visit to Glastonbury Community Church to preach for a friend I went to seminary with. I have been reading in John and selected John 1:45-51 as my sermon text. Essentially, it circles around the idea of our identity before God - a God who sees us in all our fallenness. His loves extends to us because he made us and he takes the step towards us to love us and call to us while we are still broken and he makes us new.
